After being a course leader and lecturer in Horticulture at Nottingham Trent University for nearly 20 years I am now working on a new venture in Limousin, France. In our plant nursery and garden school we aim to carry on sharing our passion for horticulture and natural crafts.
Specialist subjects include plant science, propagation, plant identification, specialist traditional and modern pruning and maintenance techniques. We also teach greenwood crafts, weaving, stained glass art and other crafts using natural materials.

We are planning our Christmas workshops for late November and early December and have scheduled some dates for Christmas Wreaths and Chicken Wire Robins. (scroll down past the gallery for booking information).

Traditional Christmas Wreaths will be made from fresh & dried greenery

Chicken Wire Robins – you will make a pair

Both workshops are half day (2.5 to 3 hour) sessions and cost 35 euros each. We have scheduled one full day where you can come along and take part in both activities – the full day workshop costs 70 euros. We will provide tea & coffee as well as all materials to make your Robins and/or Wreath. For the full day session you will need to bring a packed lunch. Tuesday 30th November – full day/both workshops 10am – 4pm: 70 euros (NOW FULLY BOOKED)

Just a reminder that we will be closing the nursery early this coming Saturday 4th September at 2.30/300pm. Back to normal the following week.

Our one year old maiden apple trees are now ready for sale. Grafted by us from our own collection of heritage UK apple varieties onto dwarfing rootstocks. They are ready for training into standard, cordon or espalier forms.

We have produced these young trees ourselves and numbers of each variety are limited. You can come and select them on Saturdays 10-4. We can take pre-orders but we can only hold on to them for 2 weeks maximum, collection on Saturdays only.
