OPENING HOURS:

Our nursery is open on Saturdays between 9th March and 31st October. In March and October we are open 12-4pm, from April through until the end of September we are open 10am-4pm. If you can’t make Saturdays you can order plants for collection on a day to suit, you can browse our plant list on our NURSERY page. WE ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS and jours fériés

Courses run throughout the year on weekdays and Saturdays as scheduled or booked in advance.

The gardens are open to nursery customers and course customers during nursery opening hours and/or while attending a course or workshop (free entry at these times). The nursery is a short walk up through the garden and arboretum/meadow so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather. (It is possible to take a car up to the nursery when the grass is dry if you are unable to walk).

We are able to take cash or cheques, or we can send a PayPal request – we do not have card payment facilities.

We do have an outside loo but we are not able to offer refreshments but there are lots of cafes and restaurants in nearby villages and towns if you want to stop off on route, or you are welcome to bring a flask/snack/soft drinks and sit on one of our benches in the garden.

Accessibility: some parts of the garden are suitable for wheelchair or mobility scooter users, the main polytunnel and shade tunnel are also accessible, but there are some areas of the garden and nursery that you may not be able to negotiate. The grass path up to the nursery could be difficult in wet weather.

For all other visits please get in touch to make an appointment to ensure that we are here and/or available. (We make a small charge for private tours outside of our normal opening hours).

Our landline number is 05 44 20 17 05 however, we are generally outside and often don’t hear the call but we check emails every working day and aim to reply within 24 hours!

HOW TO FIND US: For those that haven’t been before we recommend checking out where we are on google maps (there is also a map at the bottom of the page – scroll right down until the bottom of the gallery) before setting off. It is best to approach us via the D34 running between Vayres and St Laurent sur Gorre where we are signposted off the D34 at the turning to La Guinandie about 1.5km from Vayres. If you rely on the Sat Nav it tends to send you a convoluted route round the back roads and you miss our signage. Our coordinates are: 45.760585, 0.832473
