After being a course leader and lecturer in Horticulture at Nottingham Trent University for nearly 20 years I am now working on a new venture in Limousin, France. In our plant nursery and garden school we aim to carry on sharing our passion for horticulture and natural crafts.
Specialist subjects include plant science, propagation, plant identification, specialist traditional and modern pruning and maintenance techniques. We also teach greenwood crafts, weaving, stained glass art and other crafts using natural materials.

We have started taking bookings for courses for the coming season. This year we are continuing to book courses ‘on request’ as it has been successful over the last couple of years in helping us to offer the courses that you want to do and when you are available to come.

There is information about the range of courses and workshops that we offer on our ‘Courses’ page, along with a current price list. If you have a group of friends all wanting to come along together then we can make it an exclusive group booking (minimum of 6 people, or 4 for stained glass courses). If there is just yourself, or a group of less than our minimum number, we will still organise the course or workshop to suit you and then we will advertise the additional places. Courses with spare places will then go onto our calendar and be advertised on our website and Facebook page.

Just get in touch to let us know what you would like to do, suggest a few dates that work for you and we will check our availability and get it organised for you. We have four dates planned for our popular Christmas Wreath workshops, the cost is 40 euros per person, all basic materials are included in the price: The frame, all fresh greenery, a ribbon/bow and three decorations. We will also serve tea/coffee/mince pies midafternoon.

Learn how to create garden sculptures in wire and create a pair of snowdrop flowers approximately 80-100cm tall, with two leaves. Learn basic cutting and joining of stained glass and create a garden suncatcher. The suncatcher is approximately 10 x 40 cm plus legs for standing in the ground or in a plant pot.

The workshop runs from 1pm-5pm on Tuesday 9th August 2022 and costs 70 euros per person, all basic materials are included in the price plus tea/coffee/water. (The feature panels with bees, dragonflies etc made by a local fused glass artist are optional extras starting at 3 euros each).

Learn basic willow weaving techniques and create an obelisk for your garden. The workshop will run from 1pm-4pm on Tuesday 31st May. The cost per person is 35 euros and includes all materials to make an obelisk approximately 1.2 metres high and light refreshments.
