The day will be split into two halves – one group will make a junk metal sculpture in the morning while the other group will make crockery flowers, after lunch you will swap over so that by the end of the day you will go home with a junk metal sculpture and at least one crockery flower sculpture (most people have time to make more than one flower).

The cost of the workshop is 80 euros – materials are extra at cost price from our collection of ‘junk’ (prices start at 1 euro per item) but you can also bring your own junk along to use. Learn how to use willow for sculpture and create a dragonfly sculpture to hang on an interior or exterior wall, or suspend in your garden! Learn how to use chicken wire to make everlasting flowers for your garden. This workshop will run from 10am-4pm on Tuesday 6th August. You will make three Echinacea or Rudbeckia flowers (depending on your choice of colours) on spikes approximately 60cm tall. Cost per person is 65 euros. All materials are included in the price as well as hot and cold drinks throughout the day (you will need to bring a packed lunch).

These video tutorials were produced back in 2020 when we had to cancel all of our courses due to Covid. When we had to cancel the Veg Growing course we were asked if we could do it as an online course instead so we started producing short ‘how to’ videos as we went through the veg growing year. We had no special equipment so the videos are basic but informative. We also produced a calendar that links to the appropriate videos and a set of ‘additional information’ sheets to complement the videos. (These were based on articles that I had previously written for the Etcetera magazine).

We have now released these videos to the public and you can access them via our YouTube channel. We have started adding more videos on a variety of topics from gardening to crafts and other things that we do at Le Jardin Creatif.
