These video tutorials were produced back in 2020 when we had to cancel all of our courses due to Covid. When we had to cancel the Veg Growing course we were asked if we could do it as an online course instead so we started producing short ‘how to’ videos as we went through the veg growing year. We had no special equipment so the videos are basic but informative. We also produced a calendar that links to the appropriate videos and a set of ‘additional information’ sheets to complement the videos. (These were based on articles that I had previously written for the Etcetera magazine).

We have now released these videos to the public and you can access them via our YouTube channel. We have started adding more videos on a variety of topics from gardening to crafts and other things that we do at Le Jardin Creatif. Come along and make 6 everlasting red roses for Valentines! Your roses can be displayed in a vase or out in the garden and will bring colour all year round.

This workshop runs from 1pm-4pm on Monday 12th February and includes all materials to make 6 red roses plus tea/coffee & biscuits. We will be working in the kitchen for this workshop where you will be warm and cosy. Cost per person: 65 euros. We have started to schedule our Christmas workshops for 2023, the dates below are available for individuals and small groups of friends to book on to. We can put on other dates for group bookings of 6 to 8 people, or we can book out a whole day for a group to do two workshops of your choice.

Each individual workshop costs 40 euros per person including all basic materials, tea/coffee/mince pies (For the Christmas Wreaths all greenery, a bow and three decorations are included in the price, additional decorations are available at cost price – or you may bring your own, For the Robins you will make two wire robins – fairy lights and stand are not included)

Learn how to use willow for sculpture and make a stags head for mounting on an outdoor or indoor wall. They look great with fairy lights on their antlers!

On this two day workshop you will learn the traditional techniques of making leaded glass windows. The course covers the basics of the tools, materials and equipment and you will learn how to cut glass, join it with lead and solder it together by making a simple panel (around A4 size).

The course runs from 10am-4pm on both days and costs 140 euros per person – materials are extra so that you can have a choice of designs and colours, the average cost of an A4 panel is 25 euros (materials are priced at cost price).

NOW FULLY BOOKED – WATCH OUT FOR FUTURE DATES Learn basic weaving skills and create a decorative Willow Obelisk for your garden. The finished height of your obelisk will be around 1.2metres and they can be used as a decorative garden feature or for climbing plants. They also look great with fairy lights on them and make a pretty Christmas feature.
